An app so the job sheet gets filled in where the work happens
Job sheets were written on paper and typed up in the afternoon, so half of them arrived late or not at all. Now they are filled in on a phone, on site, with a photo and a signature.

Context
- The work happens away from the office and the job sheet was written by hand to be typed up later.
- Nobody knew what was done until the paper arrived, and invoicing ran a week behind.
The problem
- Sheets got lost, got wet, or were filled in from memory hours later.
- With no photo or signature, any customer dispute was one word against another.
- Typing them up consumed a full afternoon each week.
What I did
- A Power Apps app built for a phone and for gloved hands: large fields, closed lists, and as little typing as possible.
- Works without signal: the sheet is stored on the device and syncs when coverage returns.
- Photo and customer signature captured into the sheet and stored alongside the record.
- On closing the sheet, a flow notifies admin and drops the PDF into the customer's folder.
Result
- The job sheet exists in the system before the technician gets back in the van.
- Invoicing stops waiting for paper, and disputes are settled with the photo in front of you.
